Yes. Every new user gets at least 1 free report (agents and contractors get 2). No credit card required to sign up.
You only pay when you generate your final PDF report. Everything before that — signing up, adding properties, inspecting, taking photos — is completely free. Once the PDF is generated, the report is locked and cannot be edited. This is what makes it court-ready evidence.
A single report costs R99. If you're an agent or contractor, the Agent Pro plan gives you unlimited reports for R499/month with team management included.
We use Yoco for secure payments. Credit cards, debit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay are all supported.
Paid reports are stored securely in the cloud for 5 years from the date they were finalized. After 5 years, they are automatically deleted.
Unpaid reports (drafts that were never finalized and paid for) are automatically removed after 30 days. This keeps your account clean and avoids clutter.
No. Once the PDF is generated, the report is permanently locked. This is by design — an immutable, timestamped report is what gives it legal credibility. Make sure everything is correct during the review step before finalizing.
Yes. Every finalized report gets a shareable public link and a QR code printed on the PDF. Anyone can view the report online without needing a CYA Pro account — just scan the QR code or click the link.
Yes. Your PDF is available for download anytime during the 5-year storage period. You can also re-share the link or QR code at any time.
Yes. CYA Pro works fully offline and syncs your data automatically when you're back online. Perfect for areas with poor connectivity.
CYA Pro works on any modern smartphone, tablet, or computer via the web browser. There is also a native Android app available. An iOS app is planned.
No. CYA Pro works in your browser at app.cyass.co.za. There is an optional Android app if you prefer native performance, but it's not required.
This can happen on older devices. We recommend downloading the native Android app instead — it handles memory and camera access much better than the browser. Search "CYA Pro" on the Google Play Store or contact admin@cyass.co.za for a direct link.
Property owners and agents can create maintenance or repair jobs and invite contractors via a shareable link (WhatsApp, email, etc.). Contractors click the link, sign up in 3 steps, and document work with before/during/after photos — all in the browser, no app download needed.
14 trade types are supported: Electrician, Gas Installer, Plumber, Builder, Painter, Tiler, Roofer, Carpenter, Locksmith, Pest Control, Waterproofer, Glazier, General Maintenance, and Other.
For 5 regulated job types (electrical, gas, plumbing, electric fence, and beetle), contractors must upload compliance certificates when completing a job. Other job types do not require certificates.
No. Contractors sign up and manage their jobs entirely through the web browser. No app download is required — they just click the invite link.
Yes. Agent Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
Yes. Agent Pro includes 3 team members. Invite them by email — they share your subscription and get unlimited reports at no extra cost.
Yes. All data is stored securely on Google Cloud infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. CYA Pro is POPIA compliant. You can request deletion of your data at any time.
